In order to start publishing your blog through Amazon Kindle here are a few suggestions before posting your blog to the site.
1. A blog should be interesting, have a niche that others will enjoy reading and something that readers will want to pay for in order to read.
2. Niche blogs about a certain subject (parenting, crafts, book authors, gardening) will attract more subscribers. Be sure to pick a subject you are passionate about and can write on a regular basis.
3. Have something to say on your blog. Don't just post ramblings or your views about a subject. Write about subjects people will want to read. Share links to other sites that offer free samples, discounts, or suggested reading for visitors.
4. If you are a writer and have self-published books keep your readers updated on what your books are about, what you are currently working on and answer readers questions.
5. Offer free stuff such as free patterns, free eBooks, free how to information, etc.
6. Be sure to post to your blog at least 3 to 4 times a week. The more you post about your topic the more readers you will be able to attract. Readers will pay to read your blog on their Kindle but only if you have something to read about on a regular basis.

This is a great hub. Very informative. I had no idea you could publish a blog through kindle. That's a good idea for people who want to make money with their writing. I'll keep that in my mind. I may attempt that one day. Thanks for writing this! :)
Great hub! I had no idea this was even possible! Thanks for the info! Voted up!
Great hub, gives me some food for thought. This is something I had not heard of yet.
So what do you think about the part of Amazon's terms and conditions for publishing a blog that grants Amazon the right to use and distribute your blog's content ("Publicatoin" in the paragraph below) in any way they choose?
Specifically ...
"5.5 Grant of Rights. You hereby grant to each Amazon party, throughout the term of this Agreement, a nonexclusive, worldwide right and license to distribute Publications as described herein, directly and through third-party distributors, in all digital formats by all digital distribution means available, such right to include, without limitation, the right to: (e) use, reproduce, adapt, modify, and create derivative works of and use and distribute, as we determine appropriate, in our sole discretion, any metadata that you provide in connection with Publications ..."
This has been the one point that has kept me from following through on with publishing my blog on the Kindle. I'm very interested to know what you think.
Wow, I had no idea this existed! Recently I have been brainstorming new ways to advertise my blog and generally make more money with it. This sounds like a great option. I will look into it more. Thank you!
Thanks for responding, craftdrawer. I still haven't decided yet. Plus my blog doesn't have a lot of traffic yet, although I would think getting it on Amazon might increase traffic. Lots of pros and cons to think about.
Thank you for posting this! I've been looking for ways to self-syndicate my writing and boost my revenue. I would never have thought about Kindle as an option to monetize my blog, so I was really excited to find and read this. I voted it up and shared with all my freelance writing friends, kudos!
I am not sure about the selling part. Why would you sell your blog to Amazon than still keep adding post? I must be missing something. Great info. vote up! Stumble ya
Awesome idea. I didn't know you could do this, but I think it's a great way to promote your blog.
I never knew you could run blogs on Kindle. This is a really neat idea -- I'll have to look into it. I run blogs through Blogger, but this seems like it targets a different audience. Thanks for the info.
Wow I like this too! Thanks so much!
Everyday I am learning great ideas. I appreciate the tip. Although I am an Amazon lover I was unaware of this venue within there platform. Thanks.
Wow, I have a blog, but wasn't aware of this option. Thanks for the info.
